POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS IN COMPUTATIONAL GENOMICS

The Kingsford Group in the Computational Biology Department in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications to fill several available postdoc positions.   The Kingsford Group develops a variety of algorithms and analyses related to large-scale genomics and seeks candidates whose research interests lie in that area.  Successful candidates would join the highly collaborative research environment of both the Kingsford Group and Carnegie Mellon University to pursue research projects of mutual interest.

Candidates should (1) have (or expect to receive) a Ph.D. in Computer Science, (Applied) Mathematics, Computational Biology, or a related field, (2) have a strong algorithmic background, and (3) have a track record of publication in high quality venues.
